Carine Jocelyn

Carine Jocelyn is the Executive Director of Diapora Community Services (DCS), formely know as Haitian Women's Program, a not-for profit organization based in Brooklyn, New York. Since beginning her tenure at DCS en 2003, Ms Jocelyn has significantly increased the organization's budget, locations and staff, strenghthenning and increasing its capacity to serve Brooklyn community. Her creativity had lead to the several new programs. They all represent a scope of diverse funding (city, local, state, federal, individual). Ms Jocelyn has strategically developed to the ensure the viability and sucess of Diaspora's ability to stay to true ist mission.

Ms Jocelyn has over 20 years experience in human services and public health administration. An accomplished administrator, trainer and program officer, prior to her position at DCS, Ms Jocelyn was a Health Program Administrator at the New York State Department of Health. She has also worked for the Nassau County Youth Board, Planned Parenthood of Nassau County, AIDS Institute and Long Island University. She has served as a consutant to various health, education, youth and social service agencies. She currently sits on the board of directors of, Greater Brooklyn Health Coalition.

Carine Jocelyn is bilingual and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, a Master's Degree in Public Administration and professional certifications in Human Ressources and Organizational Development and Leadership.

Katherine Fenimore Cooper Cary

Katrina is the former Executive Director for several nonprofits organization in United States an abroad. She is also a board member of an international organization in India addressing the needs of the adolescent girls. She has a B.A in AMerican History and literature from Yale University, a recent coursework in Public Healt and sec=veral certificats from Yale and Colombia University.

Katrina has over a decade of fundraising and international project management and grant-writing experience and she is an independent documentary film director.

Guerda Lexima Constant

Guerda has served as Executive Director of the Limye Lavi Foundation since 2009. She has been employed by Limye Lavi since 1997, serving with the team to protect children's rights, and coodinating the Model Community Project. She holds a bachelor's degree in economics (University of Hautes Etudes Commerciales et Economique), and a bachelors's degree in psychology from the Universite d'Etat d'Haiti (State University of Haiti) and currently working on her master or organizational developement. She is a leader in the NGO community working in child rights in Haiti and serves on the advisory boards of 'Restavek Foundation', Haiti Partners, Art works for Freedom, Fireside International, Mennonite Central Committee (MCC)...........She works with several women from several grassroots organizations who have been in servitude.

She has 13 years of experience doing research and working with Haitian street children and children in servitude in Haiti. Under her leadership, two national networks working against child servitude in Haiti have been born.

Guerda multiple exeriences working with grassroots NGOs as trainer on leadership, organizational development and rural communities in Haiti. She has strong leadership skills and NGOs frequently solicit her advice. In haiti, her work experience spans numerous sectors, including local NGOs and International NGOs. Haiti citizen, she currently lives in Haiti (Jacmel) with her husband and three children.
