Myriam Narcisse is a highly skilled manager who has been working throughout Haiti for over 15 years, managing development and microfinance programs targeting poor women and youth. Her skill set includes capacity building, business consulting, and training of trainers for adult literacy and life skills. She holds a law degree from the Haitian Faculty of Law and her expertise and understanding of the Haitian culture has truly been an asset to many international and local organizations and entities working in Haiti. Myriam is fluent in Haitian Creole, French, and English and she currently lives in Haiti where she’s also been practicing and teaching aikido for over ten years.

Marissa serves as the Senior Program Officer overseeing youth initiatives at IPPF/WHR. She has extensive experience working in sexual and reproductive health, paticulary with regard to gender, sexuality, training, capcity building, and program management.
Prior to joining IPPF/WHR in 2009, Marissa served as the Dirctor of Emergency Contraception Education ant Outreach at Planned Parenthood of New York City. She also coordinated initiatives addressing HIV/AIDS in Latin America and Latino men's health in the Unites States at Columbia University's Heiblbrunn Center, and served as a Program Officer for Latin America and the Caribbean at the Margaret Sanger Center International.
